I even made a friend at Ross. 300 miles into my trip, I’m still on the same tank of gas I started with. It costs a lot more to fill, sure, but it’s nice to do that less often. The other small complaints I have:
The headrest is weirdly far back. I had to buy a neck pillow (which is why I stopped at Ross) just to stay comfortable.
The rear window leaks.... which is great, because my grandparents just replaced it for me for that exact reason. And the shop where it has a warranty is back in Michigan. I’m going to take a look and see if it’s actually coming through the 3rd brake light or something, in which case my grandparents got taken for a ride by the glass shop and we’ll have to demand a refund. If it IS the window, though, hopefully someone will be nice and fix it for cheap.
Aaaand, cruise control stopped working after I took a bathroom break.
But I still love this truck so far! It's not quick to get there, but it holds 80mph with ease. I even spun the tires on accident when accelerating uphill in the rain. So I'm not disappointed with the engine at all, and it's a smooth ride as well. Another thing that slightly bugs me is the lighter sockets stay powered when the truck is off, so I'll have to remember to unplug my dashcam every time I stop. But anyway, yeah, Colorado good.

Yup. That’s my grandparents’ magnet. I haven’t taken it off yet because I’m scared that it's s tuck and I don't want to deal with magnet chunks right now.

Whenever I see one of those I make a point to point and laugh emphatically so the driver might see me. Same with bro dozers. But sometimes previous owners (and family) can’t be helped. Great truck though and glad you’re happy with it!

Take some carb/O2 sensor cleaner and take off the air intake up to the throttle body and give everything a good spray down. I *think* that truck is new enough cruise control is electronic based so it could be a gummed up throttle position sensor or some slight resistance in the throttle body. Could be wrong, but it also doesn’t hurt to do either.

It could possibly be the brake light switch, so check and see if the tail lights work. My coworkers went bad a few weeks back, and lack of cruise control is a symptom, along with no brake lights.

I have one for work, rear window leaked too, mine has a cap though so my boss made me just caulk the outside since you can’t really see it with the cap on lol.
I dunno what it is with GM but they can’t keep water out and the gauge clusters suck, all 3 of my work Chevy s have one or more malfunctioning gauges so keep an eye on that too, I use the trip computer as a backup to the fuel gauge cuz it doesn’t always work.

I’ve missed all your threads since getting it. Yes the leak is probably from the third brake light if you haven’t figured it out yet.
